The emergency manager told the committee that some agencies have not yet returned their inventories and that the county is making another push to collect them; staff said completion of those inventories would allow the county to finalize a plan and a timeline.
Committee members discussed a Civic Media tower-lease invoice that staff planned to pull from the monthly payments for further negotiation. Staff said they are trying to reach Civic Media and WRCO to seek a short-term arrangement and suggested a six-month payment in lieu of a full-year lease because the county does not expect to remain on that tower long term. The committee approved the monthly invoices overall by voice vote; the Civic Media item was flagged for follow-up negotiations.
No formal contract award or long-term lease decision was recorded at the meeting. Staff said they will continue outreach to Civic Media and partner agencies and will report back with subscriber inventories and any negotiated lease terms at a future meeting.
