Juvenile court seeks $1.0M increase to Applewood contract for emergency youth respite under CALM program

Allen said the amendment would increase contract funding by $1,000,006.99 and extend the agreement through June 30, 2026. She said the amendment is fully funded by the Reclaim Ohio grant and that the per‑diem (pertain rates) were adjusted: $684.75 for Medicaid rate and $882.51 for non‑Medicaid. The amendment also updates insurance requirements.
Committee members asked whether per‑diem increases would create county costs; Allen confirmed the funds come from the grant. The committee voted to advance the resolution to full council under second‑reading suspension.
