Planning commission approves Pine Grove Neighborhood C preliminary plat with updated road condition

The La Plata Planning Commission on Sept. 2 adopted a draft resolution approving the preliminary subdivision plat for Pine Grove Neighborhood C, a mixed‑use master‑planned section that will include 386 dwelling units and a senior‑living component, with conditions that include an updated road‑section requirement and a correction to the homeowners association name.

Celia Crase, presenting the applicant materials, told the commission the neighborhood sits south of Rosewick Road and is part of the 2021 Pine Grove master site development plan. "Water remains a significant obstacle to the continuation of development," she said, describing how final water allocation is determined at final plat rather than at preliminary plat.
