Council approves Greenfield Milling warehouse rezone north of Richmond

The Cache County Council approved an ordinance rezoning 8.79 acres north of Richmond from A‑10/commercial to industrial to allow continued use as warehousing and truck staging tied to nearby flour-milling facilities.
Angie Zetterquist told the council the site sits across from the Utah flour mill project and nearby Pepperidge Farm activity; planning commission recommended approval 5–0 with one abstention. Kirk Ahrens, vice president of environmental health and safety for Greenfield, told the council the parcel had been used as a warehouse and staging area under prior leases and the rezone is intended to align zoning with historic and intended industrial activity.
