County leaders said the 911 care team also supports telecommunicators who handle crisis calls. The community resource portal was described as a tool to reduce barriers to services by connecting residents quickly with resources and service providers. County staff and commissioners invited program staff forward for recognition and a photo during the meeting.
There was no board action required; commissioners and staff framed the awards as recognition of county efforts to improve service delivery for residents.
