Vicki Davis, Martin County supervisor of elections, urged registered voters to renew vote-by-mail requests for the 2026 election cycle, saying existing requests "expired December after the general election" and must be renewed to receive ballots by mail.
Davis said vote-by-mail is available to all registered voters and offered instructions for renewing a request. "Did you know all vote by mail request expired December after the general election? If you would like to vote by mail for the 2026 election cycle, now is the time to renew your request," Davis said. "Simply visit martinvotes.gov or call (772) 288-5637."
She added that voting by mail "is quick, easy, and ensures you're ready to vote in 2026." The announcement was presented as an informational notice; no formal action or vote was taken on the matter during the meeting.
Davis did not specify a calendar deadline beyond saying requests expired in December after the general election. Voters seeking more information were directed to the county's election website or the phone number provided.
