Stalder briefly introduced herself earlier in the meeting, saying she has lived in Ocean Shores for about five years, previously managed homeowner associations and served 22½ years in the U.S. Navy. The commission did not take other officer elections at the Sept. 23 meeting.
No further action was taken related to the secretary appointment at the meeting.
