Pullman board updates course‑design and library/technology policies to comply with recent state bills

PULLMAN, Wash. — The Pullman School District Board of Directors on Aug. 27 approved revisions to district policy governing course design, selection and adoption of instructional materials and to library and information‑technology policy to align district procedures with recently enacted state bills.

The action, taken during the regular board meeting at the district office, updates Policy 2020 (Course Design, Selection and Adoption of Instructional Materials) and Policy 2021 (Library, Information and Technology Programs) to add alternative core materials and to reflect wording changes called out by the Washington Association of School Districts (WASDA).
