The Forest Park Urban Redevelopment Agency on Oct. 9 accepted a quitclaim deed from the city conveying ownership of 833 Forest Parkway, the former Rite Aid property known as the Grapevine site.

Board member Deborah Patrick moved to accept the quitclaim deed; Adrian Wilson seconded the motion. The board approved the acceptance by voice vote with no recorded opposition. The acceptance places the property under URA ownership for future redevelopment planning and action.

Staff did not present a purchase price or additional transaction documents on the public record during the motion; further implementation steps and redevelopment planning for the property were not discussed in detail at the time of the vote.
