Deborah Carrasco testified she inspected the property on June 19 and again on June 24, 2025, documented overgrown grass in photographs and left door tags. She said the owners were given until July 2, 2025, to correct the condition but had not done so; an amended notice extended compliance to Aug. 21, 2025 but the condition persisted. "On 06/19/2025, I inspected the property. At that time, I observed overgrown grass and left a door tag," Carrasco said.
With no representatives present, the magistrate accepted county exhibits 1–12 into evidence, found the violations existed and ordered compliance by Oct. 31, 2025. The order states that failure to comply will result in fines of $100 per day per violation and awards $575 in investigative costs to Martin County.
