The Plan Commission on Dec. 9 recommended the village board approve a certified survey map to dedicate road right-of-way that will formalize public access to the Ryan Street trailhead parking area adjacent to the Eau Claire River Trail.
Planning staff said the trailhead parking is currently accessible but the road and parking area are not on publicly dedicated right-of-way; the certified survey map would create Parcels 2 and 3 to provide legal access and allow the village to accept and maintain the right-of-way. Staff indicated a development agreement was not required unless additional terms were needed.
Commissioners moved to recommend the CSM to the village board (motion by Zagami; second by Mumper) and carried the motion. Staff will prepare the resolution and packet materials for board action.
