Staff recommended advertising the vacancies, accepting letters of interest by 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31, conducting interviews at the commission’s Nov. 6 meeting, and forwarding recommendations to council for appointment before the holidays.
Erin said notices will be published in the San Juan Record and the town’s website; she said letters of interest should be emailed to the commission chair and that the commission would forward recommendations to the council for final appointment.
Council did not appoint members at the meeting; staff will publish the notice and accept applications according to the timetable described.
