The update, given by board member Sharon Montgomery, listed scheduled community programs including “Paint the Rock” on Sept. 13, “Come Fly a Kite” on Sept. 21 and a classic car show with a local pop-up at the historic service station on Saturday, Sept. 27, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Montgomery said registrations for the car show are still being accepted online and in person at the park.
