The McPherson County Board of Commissioners approved three personnel change notices during its Oct. 6 meeting.

Laurie Wazardi, register of deeds, presented two PCNs: a new hire, Lilith Cherry, effective Oct. 13, and a promotion/PCN for Sheila Malm effective Oct. 26. Wazardi described the evaluations and the candidates’ fit for the office; commissioners approved both PCNs by voice vote.

Separately, commissioners approved a PCN to replace a departing personnel/administration employee, naming Quinlan Raggoth effective Oct. 20. The board discussed transitional assistance from the departing employee for annual tasks such as W‑2s and Form 1090s as needed.

Commissioners praised the departing employee, Lisa, for seven years of service and noted the new hires would step into their respective roles with start dates as listed.
