The city manager also said staff would present pool and band shell concepts and that construction on a Kansas Department of Transportation Authority (KDA)-funded Central Avenue project will begin soon; that project is expected to shift traffic lanes during construction but cause only minimal disruption, staff said.
The commission did not take immediate action on the housing items; the task force is scheduled to review the policies and may forward recommendations later.
