Student describes years on cheer squad, says team hopes to place at nationals

A commenter speaking at the meeting described a long history in cheerleading and said her team hopes to place at nationals.

“I've been doing cheer since, like, third grade. I've been doing it all my life,” the commenter said, adding that she especially enjoys “stunting and, going to all the games and stuff.”

The commenter said the team’s favorite memory was a freshman-year camp that turned rainy: “it was, like, raining and then we all had to, like, run inside,” she said. She added that the experience was “pretty funny.”

On goals, the commenter said, “I hope that we can make it, like, first place in nationals or at least just, like, place in nationals. That's 1 of my goals is, like, to get to nationals and place.”
