Committee approves exterior updates for hotel at 2850 S. Oneida; staff had no conditions

The Village of Ashwaubenon Site Plan Review Committee on Oct. 7 approved exterior improvements for the Comfort Inn and Suites at 2850 South Oneida Street, a property the presenter said previously operated as the Fairfield by Marriott.
Aaron, the village planning staff member who presented the item, said the project would replace and enlarge the hotel’s vestibule to align with the Comfort Inn and Suites brand, add a stone facade around the entrance, rebuild the refuse enclosure with split-face concrete masonry units (CMU) and gated access, and include additional exterior painting (which staff described as outside the committee’s scope). Aaron said staff recommended approval and imposed no conditions.
A committee member moved to approve the exterior improvements without conditions; the motion was seconded and passed by voice vote with all members saying “aye.”
