Assistant Principal Miss Barto addressed student safety on air, saying the school has “a lot of positive things,” and warning, “I’m seeing a lot of the paper darts being made with sticky notes across campus. Those are dangerous objects, so they’re not permitted anywhere on campus. And, unfortunately, if someone is hurt, then there will be some pretty serious consequences.” The newscast advised students not to make or throw paper darts.
Student leaders from the eighth grade spoke briefly about leadership and school life and assisted with a prize drawing tied to the school’s Triton recognition cards.
