Tuolumne County supervisors on Oct. 7 approved the consent calendar items 1–11 with the exception of item 8, which was pulled from the agenda.
The clerk read the items, which included: approval of Sept. 15 and 16 special‑meeting minutes; finding that the summary for Ordinance 3484 was published Oct. 2; a resolution honoring Helen Coates, elder of the Southern Sierra Miwok; a grant agreement (OP26015) with the California Office of Traffic Safety for child safety seats ($77,672); a resolution declaring October 2025 Domestic Violence Awareness Month; application delegation for an OES underserved/Unserved program; reappointments to the Behavioral Health Advisory Board; a resolution continuing the local health emergency related to TCU September lightning complex fire debris; a memorandum of understanding with the Tuolumne County Deputy Sheriffs Association for 2025‑26; and a resolution recognizing Behavioral Health’s BHCIP participation for up to $10,500,000.
Supervisor Campbell moved approval; Supervisor Kirk seconded. The board voted "aye" and the motion carried unanimously. Item 8, a resolution concerning Proposition 51, was pulled after Supervisor Griesemer noted that because a polling place was open downstairs the timing of the item could raise campaign‑law concerns; the board removed item 8 from consideration for that day.
The board recessed briefly after the vote and reconvened to take up subsequent agenda items.
