CRA board approves Sept. 3 minutes and a capital-project transfer

The Fort Lauderdale Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) met in session on Oct. 7 as part of the commission conference and approved two items on a roll-call vote.
The CRA approved M1, the minutes of the Sept. 3, 2025 CRA meeting, by roll-call vote. Commissioner Steve Glassman, Commissioner Pamela Beasley Pittman, Commissioner Ben Sorensen, Vice Chair John Herbst and Chair Dean Trantalis all voted yes.
The CRA then approved R1, a resolution authorizing a transfer between capital projects (Northwest Progresso Flagler Heights redevelopment area and the Sistrunk crosswalks project). The resolution was introduced and, following no substantive questions, passed on a roll-call vote with the same five members recorded as voting yes.
Why it matters: Approving minutes and interproject transfers are routine CRA actions that allow the agency to move funds to priorities within redevelopment areas and maintain an accurate public record of prior meetings.
