Members of the joint conference committee opened consideration of House Bill 806 HD1 SD2, relating to fireworks, and said they are preparing a conference draft (CD) to share with members before moving to approval.
Representative Todd (House co-chair) opened the session and said a CD is being prepared and will be circulated shortly so the committee can proceed with approval. Senator Elefante (Senate chair) and other Senate conferees agreed to roll the meeting over to the same time on April 23 to allow time for the draft to be exchanged.
No votes or policy decisions were recorded during the April 22 meeting. The committee scheduled a reconvening for Wednesday, April 23, at 3:00 p.m. in Conference Room 016.
