Committee postpones two applications for Robert Wick Jr. after town objections

Two agenda items related to property owned by Robert Wick Jr. were postponed indefinitely at the applicant’s request after the town objected to the proposals. County planning staff said the applicant will continue working with the town to address concerns and will return to the committee if and when an acceptable proposal is ready.

Dusty explained the applicant asked to postpone the items while they negotiate with the town; a resident, William Foster, asked how to find the town’s objections and staff directed him to the town clerk for meeting minutes. The committee voted on the postponement by roll call and approved it.

No substantive hearings or decisions on the underlying applications occurred at the meeting; when the applicant provides revised materials and town concurrence, the items will be rescheduled.
