The Yorktown Central School District announced Monday that picture day at Mohansek is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 1, and that schools will be closed Thursday, Oct. 2, in observance of Yom Kippur.

A staff member, District announcer for the Yorktown Central School District, said the district expects a variety of athletic events throughout the week and urged families to check the district website for the most up-to-date home athletic schedule.

The announcement also listed athletic events on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday. The district closed the bulletin by wishing the community a good week.
