The Homewood Special Issues Committee on Sept. 22, 2025, unanimously approved the minutes from June and voted to take items 17, 10 and 15 and ordinance O50522 off the table and forward them to the full Homewood City Council to be dropped.
The actions were procedural: the committee had no old or new business on the agenda and used the meeting to resolve four previously tabled items. Councilors moved and seconded the motions during a short session that resulted in unanimous ‘‘aye’’ votes for each item.
A motion to dispense with reading the minutes and approve the June minutes was moved and seconded and passed unanimously. Later, committee members voted to take agenda items 17, 10 and 15 off the table; the committee then voted to send those items to the full council to be dropped. The committee separately took ordinance O50522 off the table and voted to send it to council to be dropped.
All recorded votes were unanimous. The transcript shows councilors voting ‘‘Aye’’ on the motions and the committee declaring the motions passed. No substantive debate or public comment on the items was recorded in the transcript, and the meeting contained no other business.
The committee concluded its listed business after clearing the tabled items.
