The ordinance passed on a roll-call vote with all seven council members present voting yes: Council member Bader; Council member Ryan; Council member Voguely; Council member Fossey; Council member Tuohy; Vice President Zarlingo; and President Schwab. Mayor Franklin was excused. The council did not record any abstentions or no votes.
The council described the appropriation as covering design, permitting and construction costs; the ordinance text on the agenda lists the amount as $360,000. Council discussion was brief and limited to an acknowledgment of the county funding contribution. No amendments were offered during the Aug. 13 final reading.
