At the Aug. 18, 2025 Big Walnut Local Schools board meeting, Daryl Hennessy, a city of Sunbury representative, asked the school district to consider dedicating a small segment of school-owned roadway so the city can extend Kittner Parkway and assume long-term maintenance responsibilities.
