Council votes to enter closed session for city manager evaluation

Council Member Bob Gates moved to enter closed session for that purpose, seconded by Kathy Kopp. The chair called the roll and the motion carried. The council indicated it expected no further action after the closed session and would adjourn from closed session.
Why it matters: State law allows local governing bodies to deliberate on individual personnel matters in closed session; the council followed the statute cited in the motion and recorded the roll-call vote.
