At the start of its Dec. 9 meeting, the Town of Sykesville council approved the consent agenda, which included minutes from Nov. 12 and Nov. 25, adoption of the 2025 meeting dates and holidays, and the appointment of Daniel Meakin to the planning commission for a five-year term ending July 2029.
Council member Grassley moved to approve the consent agenda; Council member Scofield seconded. After noting only minor typographical amendments to the minutes, the council voted to approve the consent agenda. The motion passed and the clerk recorded the approval.
