Ron Berndt (2182 Lost Tree Way, Bloomfield Township) was appointed as a regular member of the Historic District Study Committee to complete a three‑year term expiring 06/25/2028. Berndt described his interest and historical/architectural experience; the commission approved his nomination after the city attorney confirmed that a nonresident with relevant expertise may serve when no qualified residents are available.
Both appointments were approved by voice vote; the new members were sworn in by the clerk.
