Castleberry Independent School District leaders told the board the district improved its overall A–F accountability standing in 2025, and presented TELPAS (Texas English Language Proficiency Assessment System) gains and a five-year district improvement plan that sets multi-year targets aligned to Texas accountability and HB3 goals.
Scott Hudgins, lead secondary coordinator for math and accountability, said the district’s weighted average produced an overall score of 81 for the 2025 school year and highlighted campus-level results: Reach High School scored a 96; Castleberry High School posted an 83 with a postsecondary-readiness distinction; Castleberry Elementary earned a B with a score of 80; and several elementary campuses received distinctions in areas such as academic growth and closing gaps.
