Jack, the applicant’s representative, asked the board for approval to extend interior dining into seven adjacent parking spaces. The proposed work would add seating and a new service station; Jack said structural plumbing was already present where the addition was planned. However, the board deferred action, 7–0, because the architect was not present and staff said the submitted elevations did not match existing conditions.
