The Ormond Beach City Commission, sitting as the city’s Community Redevelopment Agency, approved Resolution 2025‑149, authorizing execution of an annual service agreement between the city and Ormond Main Street Inc. for promotion and maintenance of the Ormond Beach Main Street District.
City Clerk Susan Dauteris read the resolution title. The commission moved and seconded approval and adopted the resolution by voice vote. Commissioner Travis Sargent praised Main Street’s expanded activity and web development, calling the increase a worthwhile investment. “There’s a lot that’s going into this with developing the website and really enhancing our Main Street, and I’m proud,” Sargent said.
Commissioners also approved the minutes for the Sept. 17, 2025, city commission meeting and adopted the consent agenda, which staff characterized as routine and noncontroversial. The consent agenda passed by voice vote after a motion and second; the commission later took public comment on one consent item and scheduled a workshop on an efficiency audit for November.
