The Clinton County Drainage Board approved the minutes from its Sept. 16 meeting and voted to cancel the scheduled Oct. 21 meeting during its Oct. 7 session. Both motions passed 2-0.
At the start of the Oct. 7 meeting a board member moved to approve the Sept. 16 minutes "as written," the motion was seconded and the board recorded the approval as "Motion carries 2 0." Later in the meeting board members discussed scheduling and a motion to cancel the Oct. 21 meeting was made and approved 2-0.
Board members said they will request a special meeting if any vitally important items arise before the next regular meeting. No other business was brought forward and the meeting was adjourned.
