Boone County commissioners on Oct. 6 approved several personnel and contract items including a pharmacy-benefit renewal, stop-loss insurance, updates to professional services agreements, a design-services contract, and two job descriptions.
Staff presented a renewal of the county’s pharmacy benefit provider contract with TrueRx (presenter identified as Amber). Commissioners approved the renewal by voice vote. The board also approved continued stop-loss insurance coverage with HCC and authorized an hourly professional-services agreement with A & F to provide as-needed work under updated terms and rates.
County staff recommended approval of job descriptions for a Director of Administration and an Office Assistant; commissioners approved the job descriptions. The board approved a contract with K2N for design services related to the KeyBank Building project.
All items were approved by voice vote; staff said updated terms and hourly rates reflect current needs and that contracts had been reviewed internally. The meeting record shows approval subject to legal review for at least one consultant agreement where legal review was still pending.
