Commissioners suggested possible locations including the Katy Trail phase 2 corridor and existing locations in Forest Park, and staff said phase 2 is not fully designed yet so timing for installation may be uncertain. After a motion to accept the sculpture and a second, the commission voted in favor and the motion passed.
Staff said accepting the piece now would allow staff to return later with recommended locations; the department emphasized that maintenance obligations and site appropriateness are a factor in accepting future donations.
