Milton officials discuss CRA-funded sidewalks, Oak Street resolution and Pine Street easement

Milton City Council and Community Redevelopment Agency staff reported progress Tuesday on several sidewalk projects funded through the city’s CRA program and discussed steps needed to connect gaps on Oak Street and Pine Street.

CRA staff briefed the council that two sidewalk segments—one tied to Oak Street and one on Pine Street—are priorities for using CRA funding and that work on small segments could be completed within about two weeks. The Oak Street segment is tied to a resolution being processed with Santa Rosa County; the Pine Street segment requires right‑of‑way or easement agreements from CSX before construction can proceed, CRA staff said.
