The Vermillion County Council approved at its special meeting an initial appropriation of $371,000 from Vermillion County Library funds to replace the library's heating, ventilation and air-conditioning system.

"They advertised an additional appropriation of 371,000 for replacement of their HVAC system," a council member said during the meeting.
