Staff described the project as roughly yearlong and said it will produce modeling and remediation plans, plus community engagement components such as open houses. The work session packet lists the estuary grant item on the consent agenda under agenda identifier 2025Dash3551. Staff asked to place the item on consent and council agreed to do so in the work session discussion.
A council member asked whether the city could be eligible for sidewalk grants tied to legislative priorities; staff said they would research possible grant sources such as CDBG and other programs and report back.
