Bidders and the amounts disclosed in the bid packets were: Concrete Specialties, $208,126 (bid bond and proper form included); Edward and Jones Concrete Inc., $225,815; DC Construction Services, $289,675; and Morphy Construction, $394,394. The motion was to take the four bids under advisement; the motion was made and seconded and carried with members saying "aye." On claims, the board approved the following totals as part of the claims docket: Civil City, $3,434,250.98; Light & Power, $1,702,655.95; Water Department, $1,212,239.98; Water Pollution, $616,440.75; Stormwater, $105,644.05; total $7,081,231.71. A motion to approve the claims was moved and seconded and carried with members saying "aye." No roll-call vote was recorded in the transcript.
The board then adjourned. Each of these routine items carried with all members saying "aye" in the meeting record; no opposing votes were recorded in the transcript.
