Board nominates Melissa Burgard to Lakes Country Service Cooperative board

Dr. Brandon Lunick introduced the nomination and said Burgard had expressed interest in serving as a Lakes Country Service Cooperative board member. Board member Matt moved to approve the nomination and board member Cassidy seconded. The board voted aye and the motion carried.
The motion authorizes the district to support Burgard’s candidacy and to submit her name to the cooperative’s election process. The board did not discuss campaign activity or further commitments at the meeting.
