Utility easement vacation (File 2025-47V). Staff reported that a 20-foot-wide power-line easement associated with plat KN 81-144 is no longer in use. The petition sought vacation of approximately 6,995 square feet; staff recommended approval subject to conditions and final plat compliance. The commission voted to ratify the petition and adopt staff recommendations.
Section line easement vacation (File 2025-144B). The petition proposed vacating a section-line easement that straddles Homer city limits (southern portion) and Kenai Peninsula Borough (northern portion).…
