The House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure on a voice vote adopted and submitted its fiscal year 2026 views and estimates to the House Committee on the Budget.

Chairman Graves and Ranking Member Larson each gave brief statements endorsing the report as a bipartisan starting point for the committee's work in the second session of the 119th Congress. Graves said the committee had held 30 hearings and roundtables, reported 27 bills out of committee, and that 21 bills referred to the committee had been approved by the House. Larson described the report as a “bipartisan roadmap” and urged colleagues to support it.

The committee dispensed with first reading and opened the views and estimates for amendment; no amendments were offered. Members adopted the report by voice vote and, pursuant to House rule, ordered it submitted to the Committee on the Budget.

The report frames the committee’s priorities for the coming year, including advancing surface transportation reauthorization, pipeline safety legislation, reauthorization of the Federal Maritime Commission, investments in clean water infrastructure, and measures to address the solvency of the Highway Trust Fund. Both chair and ranking member emphasized bipartisan work and oversight of recent authorizations, including Coast Guard and FAA matters.

The committee recorded no formal roll call on the submission. The adopted views and estimates will be formally transmitted to the House Committee on the Budget per committee procedure.
