Staff had included draft text and examples of typical trailer and RV sizes in the meeting packet.
Council members and staff agreed the topic required more time for detailed review. A motion to table and schedule a workshop passed; staff will bring the ordinance language to a workshop before returning the item to a future council meeting for consideration.
Councilmembers noted specific enforcement questions — for example, how the ordinance would apply to an 18-wheeler observed parked on a residential property — and said they wanted the workshop to address enforceability, exemptions, and clear definitions before adopting language.
