EDC briefing urges Titusville to preserve zone funding, consider Chamber administration for incentives

Linda Weatherman, executive director of the Economic Development Commission (EDC), briefed the City of Titusville on economic development activity in Titusville and North Brevard and recommended that the city preserve its North Brevard Economic Development Zone funding as a competitive closing fund to attract industry.

Weatherman described the EDC as a public–private nonprofit that focuses on recruiting, retaining and expanding target industries such as space, aerospace, defense and medical supply manufacturing.
