Wallsburg council adopts audits and fee schedule, approves snowplow pact, waives rental fee for kids fair and cancels municipal election

Wallsburg Town Council members voted unanimously at their Oct. 9, 2025 meeting to accept fiscal-year 2024–25 audit reports, adopt a revised fee schedule that includes water-rate changes effective Jan. 1, 2026, approve an interlocal snowplowing agreement with Wasatch County Public Works, grant a reduced town-hall rental fee for Round Valley Learning Academy’s (RVLA) kids business fair, and cancel the town’s 2025 municipal election after a candidate withdrawal.

The council’s actions affect town finances, service arrangements with the county and the scheduling of elected officials. Each motion passed by a recorded unanimous vote of the five members present; one member, Mary Piscitelli, was excused.

The council accepted the auditor’s report for fiscal year 2024–25 as presented at the September meeting by Larson and Company. A motion to accept the audit reports was moved and seconded and passed by voice vote.
