Arrow Sanitary reports smooth transition after Walker acquisition; Greg Moore promoted

A representative of Arrow Sanitary reported to the Estacada City Council that the company’s transition following its acquisition of Walker’s waste service has been smooth, with drivers retained and operations continuing without interruption.
The Arrow representative said the transaction is officially closed and praised city staff, the community and Arrow employees for a successful changeover. He added, "We don't have a lot to report on, which I think is a very good thing," and named drivers who remained with the service.
Arrow also announced an internal personnel change: Greg Moore, who worked closely on the Walker transition, has been promoted to district manager and will be the city’s point of contact going forward. The outgoing manager said he is taking a new position in Clark County, Washington.
City staff thanked Arrow for cooperation during the transition and said the change has reduced resident calls about waste service since Arrow began operations.
The council did not take formal action on the update; city staff confirmed they will continue to monitor service and maintain the contact with Arrow.
