The manager said the event is scheduled for Aug. 11 at 5 p.m., just before the next council meeting, and that printed flyers are being distributed.
The manager also noted staff and council participation in county planning meetings and described the city—s role in regional rural housing planning and transportation discussions, but the principal public announcement at the meeting was the wastewater plant groundbreaking.
