Board approves routine business, personnel, curriculum, special education, policies and finance items; several abstentions noted

The Cinnaminson Township School District Board of Education approved a package of routine business and consent items covering finance, personnel, curriculum, special education and policy first readings.

- Section 12 (curriculum and instruction, items a–f): approved; multiple abstentions were recorded by board members on individual line items (items referenced by line numbers in the agenda were abstained from; specifics are listed in the board minutes).
- Section 13 (special education, student placement): approved. The board approved a tuition contract for one student with Burlington County Special Services alternative school, from Jan. 22 to June 30, 2025.
- Section 14 (policy first readings): approved; two board members recorded “no” votes on Policy 9613 while voting yes on the other policies listed for first reading; the board said the policies listed would advance to second reading at the next meeting.
- Section 15 (business and finance, items a–d): approved. The board accepted a revised 24‑25 funding statement; approved a semi corrective action plan and staff mileage reimbursements; and accepted several donations: $12.95 from CHASA to New Albany School; $446 from CHASA to New Albany School; an anonymous donation of $2,667.98 toward unpaid student lunch balances; and four guitars from the Burlington County Sheriff’s Office to Cinnaminson High School music program.
