Clarkston board approves personnel, construction and equipment purchases; recognizes three National Merit semifinalists

The Clarkston Community School District Board of Education on an evening meeting approved personnel changes, ratified multiple construction contract items and authorized purchases of a compact track loader and a maintenance pickup, and recognized three Clarkston High School students named National Merit Scholarship semifinalists.

The board recognized Catherine Miller, Joshua Ponce and Elliot Hoyle as National Merit semifinalists from Clarkston High School. Superintendent Dr. Ryan introduced the recognition and asked district staff to invite the students forward for a brief acknowledgment and photographs. "These students are all excellent academically," a district presenter said while introducing the students.
