Huron district reports fiscal-year collections and construction progress; high school addition due Nov. 1

Huron School District 02-2 staff reported on the district's general fund status and construction projects at the board's Oct. 14 meeting, saying the high school addition is expected to be turned over to the district by Nov. 1 and that roofing work will continue through mid‑January.

District staff reported the district is about 25% of the way through the fiscal year. The transcript records $5,122,000 collected to date, which the speaker described as 18% of budgeted revenue, compared with last year's collection at the same point. Expenditures to date were reported at $4,559,000, or about 16% of the budgeted expenditures.
